Idaho Health Guide will have ten specific objectives:

1. Develop an informative website to promote the positive aspects of the healthcare industry and assist the American Public Health Association in “Building a Foundation for a Healthy America”.
2. Generate the “Idaho Health Guide” by January of 2010 and print out a free publication that will be distributed throughout Eastern Idaho “guiding” the general public to improve their overall health.  
3. Expand the Idaho Health Guide.com website to broaden information about healthcare providers in Eastern Idaho.
4. Increase public awareness of the current national and local issues of our healthcare system and develop innovative programs to improve health care. 
5. Assist the residents of Eastern Idaho in finding proper healthcare providers by sponsoring Health Care Festivals to save the public both time and money.
6. Reduce the cost of healthcare by increasing public education on subject matter to improve healthcare in each family.
7. Organize and sponsor community events with local and national agencies to raise awareness of current healthcare issues that affect the residents of Eastern Idaho.
8. Motivate individuals to change their harmful behavior and guide them to sources that promote a healthy lifestyle.       
9. Highlight individuals in the community who act as role models and inspire people to improve their health.
10. Provide a location (Idaho Health Guide.com) where the challenging healthcare needs of people can be posted and discussed- then network with the community to assist with meeting the objectives of the individuals.
